Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and Shams Sherif, an individual who operates Offsprint ("we", "us"). By using Offsprint you accept them. If you use Offsprint for an organization, you confirm that you may accept them for it.
The service
Offsprint is a service in which AI agents turn a brief you write into a plan of milestones, carry out the work, and demo each milestone. Offsprint is in a private pilot: features change, and parts of it may be unavailable at times. We may change or stop the service, and will tell you in advance where we can.
Who may use it
You must be at least 18 and use Offsprint for your work. Access during the pilot is by invitation. Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens in your workspace.
Connections and approvals
- When you connect Google, Slack, GitHub, Figma, Canva or Miro, you authorize Offsprint to act in that account within the permissions shown when you connect it. You can disconnect at any time.
- Anything another person would see, such as a shared file, a message or an email, is proposed to you first and runs only if you approve it. Approvals never happen by default. One exception: if you connect a GitHub organization, the members it chose can see the repository Offsprint creates there, and services connected to that organization may build or deploy what Offsprint pushes. You are responsible for what you approve, and for having the right to share it with the people it goes to.
- Saving work into your own private files does not ask you each time; the privacy policy describes these cases.
- Your use of each connected service remains under that service's own terms.
Your content and the work
You keep all rights to what you give Offsprint (briefs, files and feedback). As between you and us, the work Offsprint produces for you, including code, documents, designs and hosted apps, is yours. You give us permission to process your content only as needed to provide Offsprint to you, as described in the privacy policy. You confirm that you have the right to give us that content, including content from other people in the services you connect.
AI-generated output
- The work is produced by AI models. It can be incomplete or wrong, and similar briefs from other people may produce similar output. Review it before you rely on it or share it.
- Research is based on publicly available sources as of the date retrieved, and its figures are estimates. Verify them before relying on them.
- Do not use Offsprint's output as legal, financial, investment, medical or other professional advice, or to make fully automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on people.
- Do not present AI-generated output in a way that misleads anyone into thinking a person made it, where that matters.
Acceptable use
Do not use Offsprint, or the apps it hosts for you, to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual property;
- build or host malware, phishing, spam, scams, or content that sexualizes minors or promotes violence;
- collect other people's personal data without a lawful basis, or send email to people who did not ask for it;
- scrape or mine data from services in breach of their terms, or try to bypass any limit, security control or approval in Offsprint;
- access other workspaces' data, or overload the service.
We may take down a hosted app, pause a project or suspend a workspace that breaks these rules or puts the service or other people at risk. Where we can, we tell you first and explain why.
Hosted apps
Apps Offsprint hosts for you run on addresses under offsprint.app. You are responsible for the apps you publish and for the data their visitors give them, including telling visitors how you use it. Hosting is offered during the pilot within usage limits, and we may remove an app that exceeds them.
Fees
The pilot is free unless we agree otherwise in writing. Each milestone runs under a spending cap. We will give you notice before introducing any charge, and nothing is charged without your agreement.
Ending
You may stop using Offsprint at any time and ask us to delete your data, as described in the privacy policy. We may end your access with 30 days' notice, or straight away for a serious breach of these terms. When access ends, work already delivered into your own accounts stays there.
Warranty and liability
Offsprint is provided "as is" during the pilot, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here, update the date at the top, and tell you of material changes in advance. Continuing to use Offsprint after a change takes effect means you accept it.
